Natural rubber bands consist of polymers of the organic compound isoprene. Natural rubber is also called caoutchouc (cao=tree and ochu=tear) which is the sticky, milky colloid (latex) from certain trees. Natural rubber is environmentally sustainable, recycable and composable. H+D natural rubber bands are used in many businesses e.g. for bundling food or filing consumer products.
