The oversized, colored rubber bands have the capacity to stretch up to twice their resting length.

H+D industrial pallet bands are high quality rubber bands that can be applied and removed on pallets within seconds. With pallet bands, also edge protectors can easily be fixed on pallets. So don't waste time by applying tape or stretch wrap, when pallet bands create significant savings in your warehouse logistics.

Application: The quickest way to stretch a rubber pallet tensioning strap over the pallet

Pallet straps can be stretched over pallets very easily by one person:

Loosely place the pallet tensioning strap on the narrow side of the pallet approx. 15 cm below the top edge of the pallet.
Move to the opposite side of the pallet and gently pull the pallet tensioning strap along.
Now grasp the pallet tensioning strap with both hands and stretch it. Your hands should guide the tensioning strap to the right and left along the outer edge of the pallet. Stay just above the pallet.
Position the pallet tensioning strap approx. 15 cm below the top edge of the pallet.
If required, edge protection strips, packing slips etc. can now be attached.

Pallet rubber bands: reliable and natural

All our industrial pallet rubber bands are made of natural rubber. They are reusable and recycable. Pallet rubber bands have a comfortable width of 25 mm. They apply securely on pallets and furniture while moving or in storage.

H+D pallet bands are ribbed for extra holding power. You can buy our mover bands color coded by size:

Circumfence 1800 mm (blue) for pallets 800 mm x 1200 mm

Circumfence 2100 mm (yellow) for pallets 1000 mm x 1200 mm

Circumfence 2400 mm (red) for pallets 1200 mm x 1200 mm

Circumfence 2800 mm (green) for pallets 1300 mm x 1300 mm and larger

Note: The pallet straps are relatively tight for the specified pallet sizes. If you require a less tight fit, select the next larger size.

Pros Pallet Rubber Bands

Rubber tensioning straps are ideal wherever pallets need to be secured for internal transport.

Also perfect for restocking opened pallets. This makes the use of stretch film superfluous. The profile structure with adhesive effect prevents the rubber band from slipping.

Pallet cover sheets can also be fixed quickly and permanently with rubber pallet straps.

We offer the pallet straps in 4 different sizes, i.e. we cover practically all standard commercial applications.

Long durability with no or little wear even with constant use.

Cons Pallet Rubber Bands

For external pallet transport only suitable to a limited extent.

What is the holding power of pallet rubber bands?

»The holding power of pallet rubber bands increases with their extension. In general, pallet rubber bands can be stretched 3 times their circumfence. With this maximum elongation the holding force is approx. 600 N. However, this is only a guideline value without major importance for securing the load: because in addition to the weight of the pallet, its structure and consistency also play an important role. For unstable, relatively heavy pallets, pallet rubber bands with a smaller circumfence and thus greater holding power are better suited. For light, sensitive goods, larger pallet rubber bands are useful.«

How many pallet rubber bands do you need to secure a pallet?

»In general, it can be sufficient to attach one pallet rubber band to the top layer of a pallet, especially when goods are stacked crosswise. Tests have shown that in case of a hard stop of a truck, the top layer in particular tends to slide. Of couse, every additional horizontal or vertical pallet rubber band increases the load security.«

Can you also use pallet rubber bands for external transport?

»In general, pallet rubber bands are only used in intralogistics. Under certain conditions, e.g. in case of a complete loading in the truck, pallet rubber bands can also be used for external transport. The responsibility to decide whether a pallet is adequately secured with pallet rubber bands lies solely with the sender.«
