Whenever a specific physical design or capability of a rubber band is requested, H+D can meet your usage needs in custom silicone bands and tubings including the dimension, color, durometer, and performance characteristics you specify.

Custom silicone bands and tubings that H+D develops range from a standard everyday product to a "one-of-a-kind" solution. Our objective is to give optimal answers to customer requests, be it technical characteristis, cost-efficiency, availability or color.

In addition, all our silicone bands and tubings can be imprinted with product information, logos, or graphics on one or both sides of a band or tubing.

H+D processes silicone tubings of different specifications into silicone bands. The number of available diameters, wall thicknesses, shore hardnesses, tensile strengths, elongations and colors are virtually unlimited. Rubber bands made of silicone must therefore always be requested by order.

Our standard silicone bands and tubings are available in the following technical characteristics:

  • Temperature tolerance from -30° C to +50° C
  • Outer Ø: 6 mm to 80 mm
  • Wall thickness: 0,5 mm to 2,0 mm
  • Cut: 1 mm to 50 mm (for silicone bands)
  • Durometer: 10° to 80° Shore (A)
  • Colors: all PMS colors available
  • Minimum quantity: 30 kg

All custom silicone bands and tubings are available in the following technical characteristics:

  • Temperature tolerance from -116° C to +280° C
  • Outer Ø: 2,4 mm to 80 mm
  • Specific profiles, such as anchor, star, or lip
  • Wall thickness: 0,5 mm to 4,0 mm
  • Cut: 1 mm to 50 mm (for silicone bands)
  • Durometer: 10° to 80° Shore (A)
  • Colors: alle PMS colors available, also crystal-clear
  • Minimum quantity: on request

H+D High Quality Standards

  • Production according to German DIN 7715
  • Safe for use in food or food packaging according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21, Section 177.2600 (only on request and after explicit approval)
  • Can be sterilized using autoclave, gamma irradiation, ethylene oxide, and e-beam
  • Reach Conformity to 1907/2006/EC
  • RoHS Conformity to 2011/65/EU
